Gus Malzahn is currently UCF’s head coach after spending several seasons at Auburn. Malzahn still has plenty of ties to Auburn, though.
According to a report on Tuesday, the former head coach of the Tigers was involved in a car accident in Auburn on Monday night.
Brian Stultz of Rivals reports that a man had to be airlifted away from the scene. He added that it was unclear how Malzahn was involved in the crash:
Per sources, Gus Malzahn was involved in a car accident on Monday night in Auburn. A man was lifted away in a helicopter.
We are not sure of how Malzahn was involved (driver, passenger, other car, etc…) but we can report that he was involved. Updates as we get them.
