Auburn coach Gus Malzahn’s once-blazing seat is getting cooler by the week.

His Tigers jumped on Mississippi State with five first-half touchdowns to coast to a 38-14 win in Starkville. The game was all but over after the first half, during which Auburn (4-2, 2-1) outgained the Bulldogs (2-3, 1-2) 335-91 in this SEC West battle.

Sophomore running back Kamryn Pettway rushed 39 times for 169 yards and three touchdowns while the Tigers’ defense suffocated the opposition for most of the day. Here’s what Malzahn had to say after Auburn’s third straight win.
