Hargreaves admits Tabor may have been the better Gators CB in 2015

Vernon Hargreaves said what many people were thinking during the 2015 Gators football season.
He may not have been the best cornerback on his own team.
That’s a weird thing to say about a guy that is shaping up to be a potential Top 10 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, but it may be true.
Hargreaves was asked about playing alongside Jalen Tabor during his media session at the NFL Combine over the weekend.
According to SEC Country, not only did Hargreaves acknowledge Tabor as the better Gators CB in 2015, but he took his praise a step further:
“He probably did,” Hargreaves told SEC Country when asked if he thought Tabor outplayed him in 2015. “He is the best corner in college football right now, without a doubt, no question and no debates.”
“His talent level is through the roof,” Hargreaves said. “He can be as good as he wants to be. I’ve told him everything I have known. He listens. He understands the game. His personality, if you get to know him, you’ll understand why he will be the best.”
Don’t let Hargreaves sell himself short in praise of his teammate. He’s one of the most decorated defensive backs in Gators football history.
Expect to hear his name called very early in the upcoming NFL Draft.
