If Georgia doesn’t pick things up in the second half, Kirby Smart’s team is going to lose their first game of the 2018 season.

The Bulldogs are down 16-0 against LSU in Baton Rouge and the team has no answers on offense. Jake Fromm has been held to five of 16 through the air for only 47 yards in the first half. Georgia has 124 yards of offense at the half, while LSU has racked up 247 yards of total offense.

On his way into the locker room at halftime, Smart was asked if the team will use Justin Fields more in the second half.

“If we feel like we can get a spark, we certainly will,” Smart answered.

As for his team’s struggles on defense, Smart had this to say:

“Well they are doing a good job of going hurry up on us and given up some big plays,” he said. “We took a chance on a third and one, they popped a long run, we have got to tackle better and we are not playing sound on defense.”
