The latest Heisman Trophy odds are out.

Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham is the favorite with 15/1 odds, and everyone is expecting a big season from the Baylor transfer. QB Jalen Hurts (20/1 odds) and RB Bo Scarbrough (30/1 odds) are the next two SEC players listed.

The best SEC bet may be LSU RB Derrius Guice. Despite leading the SEC in rushing last year, Guice has the fourth highest odds in the SEC at 25/1. From what we’ve seen from the previous recent Heisman Trophy winners, LSU will have to be in the chase for a championship if Guice should win the trophy. It’s turned into somewhat of a popularity content in recent years, usually going to the best player on the best team. That makes LSU’s run to an SEC Championship essential for Guice if he wants to hoist the trophy in New York.

Others listed on the odds are Nick Chubb (30/1), Kamryn Pettway (30/1), Danny Etling (100/1), Christian Kirk (100/1), Nick Fitzgerald (100/1), Malik Zaire (100/1), Shea Patterson (100/1), Calvin Ridley (100/1) and Da’Shawn Hand (100/1).

Former Alabama RB Derrick Henry was the last SEC player to win the trophy in 2015.
