The 2024 Heisman Trophy leaderboard got a little bit more crowded at the top after an eventful Week 1.

Miami quarterback Cam Ward and Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart were the 2 biggest risers, at least when it comes to the favorites for the award. Ward and Dart are now in the conversation along with Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel and Georgia quarterback Carson Beck at the top of the odds leaderboard.

Ward looked unbothered by Florida’s defense (and crowd) for most of Miami’s blowout win over the Gators in Week 1. He threw for 385 yards and 3 touchdowns in the victory over Florida. His best price in the market comes from DraftKings at +950.

Dart only played in the first half in Week 1, but that was all that he needed to score 6 total touchdowns (5 passing, 1 running) against Furman. BetMGM is currently offering Dart at +1000 to win the Heisman Trophy.

Gabriel had a bit of an up-and-down debut at Oregon, but still threw for 380 yards and a couple scores in a win over Idaho. He also suffered a hand injury, but appears to be fine moving forward. His best price in the market comes from FanDuel at +850.

Beck helped Georgia cruise to a 34-3 win over Clemson and was particularly dominant in the 2nd half of that game. His day ended with 278 yards and 2 touchdowns. Beck is +900 to win the Heisman at FanDuel.
