Here’s how much Arkansas will reportedly owe Bret Bielema after firing him

Bret Bielema was fired moments after the 48-45 loss to Missouri Friday, and he was informed while walking off the field.
Arkansas was 29-34 overall and 11-29 in SEC play during his tenure. His biggest advocate in AD Jeff Long was fired recently, too; so, there was little support within the athletic department to keep Bielema.
“During the course of the past five seasons, we have not been able to sustain the success on the field that is expected and required at the University of Arkansas,” interim athletic director Julie Cromer Peoples said in a statement.
According to USA Today’s Steve Berkowitz, Bielema’s buyout will be $5.9 million.
