Here’s what Ed Orgeron said after LSU’s rout of Southeastern Louisiana

LSU defeated Southeaster Louisiana, 31-0, during its first home game of the 2018 season on Saturday.
The Tigers jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, which included a 9-yard touchdown pass by Joe Burrow to Ja’Marr Chase, as well as a 1-yard touchdown run by Burrow.
The quarterback also connected on a 40-yard hail mary touchdown pass to Stephen Sullivan as time expired in the second quarter.
LSU’s defense held Southeastern Louisiana to 254 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers, including an interception by defensive back Greedy Williams.
Head coach Ed Orgeron credited his defense and noted some of his team’s offensive struggles — specifically protecting Burrow from the opposing pass rush — during his postgame press conference on Saturday:
