We still have one more day to go before SEC bowls begin, but there are three games Wednesday as college football returns from a brief break.
The First Responder Bowl kicks things off this afternoon before leading into the Quick Lane Bowl, which will be Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson’s final game with the program before he retires. We’ll also get treated to a late game with an interesting sponsor in the Cheez-It Bowl.
Another trio of contests are slated for Thursday, ending with Vanderbilt’s Texas Bowl battle against Baylor that will start a string of 11 SEC games over a six-day period.
But first we have to get through the next round of games, which are listed below (all times ET).
- 1:30 p.m. — Boston College vs. No. 25 Boise State (ESPN)
- 5:15 p.m. — Minnesota vs. Georgia Tech (ESPN)
- 9 p.m. — Cal vs. TCU (ESPN)
