Highly-touted OL Curtis Dunlap decommits from Florida

The Florida Gators lost a big-time recruit Tuesday morning.

Curtis Dunlap, a massive OL, announced his decision on Twitter to decommit from Florida and reopen his recruitment. A few recruits have shuffled around since Dan Mullen was hired as the head coach of the Gators, but losing Dunlap is a big blow.

Dunlap is listed at 6-foot-4, 368 pounds and is listed on the composite rankings at 247 Sports as the sixth best OG in the nation for 2018. He is also ranked as the 33rd best player from the state of Florida for the class of 2018.

He had committed to Florida while also receiving offers from around the SEC in Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, and others. It will be interesting to see where he winds up.
