Insane finish: Alabama HS makes 9 laterals with 2.9 seconds remaining for miracle win

This is one of the most insane high school finishes we’ve ever seen.
Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa trailed Wetumpka 30-28 with 2.9 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter on its own 41-yard-line, and then, the unthinkable happened.
The quarterback took the snap and threw a forward pass to the running back in the left flat. Nine laterals and 1 fumble later, Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa somehow scored a 59-yard touchdown for the 34-28 win.
“We practice something that kind of looked like that every Thursday,” head coach Sam Adams said, via AL.com. “If it’s a fumble and the other team picks it up, we’re behind anyway so it doesn’t matter. Our guys did a good job of doing what they were coached to do and staying behind each other.”
Check this out.
Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa (AL) was down 30-28 at their own 41-yard line with 2.9 seconds left.
