Holly Rowe has unfortunate slip of the lip when referencing Kentucky’s 7-footer absences

Holly Rowe is a key part of ESPN’s college basketball coverage, and she was live from Tuesday’s Champions Classic as Kentucky prepared to take on Kansas in the second game of the event.
Leading up to tip-off, Rowe was down on the court with head coaches John Calipari and Bill Self to preview the game. She began by questioning Calipari about his absence of big men for the game and meant to reference a trio of 7-footers that are not in action.
Unfortunately, Rowe flip-flopped those numbers and instead referenced seven “3-footers” in her question to the head coach. At the end of the day, that’s an honest slip-up, but one that is humorous in itself.
“Coach Cal, we’re going to start with you, you are without seven 3-footers tonight, that is no small thing,” said Rowe.

As for the game at hand, Kentucky will have its hands full with the top-ranked Jayhawks, particularly with star big man Hunter Dickinson going against a thin front line for the Wildcats. We’ll see how Kentucky adjusts and whether or not they can pose some problems for Kansas throughout the game.
The broadcast can be seen on ESPN.
