The Jadeveon Clowney drama has concluded with the former South Carolina standout reportedly being traded from Houston to Seattle.

Earlier this week, Clowney fired his agent reportedly out of frustration over his lengthy stay on the trading block. The Miami Dolphins were seen as the frontrunner to land Clowney, reportedly willing to trade former Ole Miss standout Laremy Tunsil to the Texans in exchange for Clowney and a first-round draft pick. Clowney, however, told Houston he preferred Seattle and Philadelphia as trade destinations over Miami. It appears he is getting his wish and heading to Seattle, according to NFL insider Jay Glazer. Clowney could not be traded until he signed the franchise tag in Houston.

In five seasons since leaving South Carolina, Clowney has played in 62 games, recording 205 total tackles, including 64 for loss and 67 QB hits. Clowney was selected to the Pro Bowl the last three seasons (2016-18).
