How AP Poll first-place votes for Alabama and Georgia shifted between preseason and Week 2 polls

Alabama and Georgia both blasted their Week 1 opponents out of the water.
The Crimson Tide blanked the Utah State Aggies while the defending National Champs did pretty much the same against No. 11 Oregon, 49-3. Outscoring opponents 104-3 is… pretty good!
Georgia’s win was enough to close the first-place vote gap between the two in the eyes of an AP voter. See for yourself below:

Ask non-Alabama or Georgia fans who should be No. 1 after the week and you’ll likely get answers close to 50/50 with a slight lean to Alabama. The two are head and shoulder above the rest of the competition in college football right now.
