Though Alabama closed as a 12-point favorite against Georgia for Saturday’s SEC championship game, the majority of gamblers are rolling with the Crimson Tide.

Less than an hour before kickoff, ESPN gambling writer David Payne Purdum tweeted betting percentages on the game at both SuperBook USA and Caesars Palace. More than 60 percent of the wagers at both locations are on Alabama, though there is a stark difference in how much money was placed on either team.

Alabama opened as a 13.5-point favorite, so the smaller line has made things a little more interesting from a gambling perspective. The top-ranked Crimson Tide has been a smart bet all season, but the No. 4 Bulldogs will likely be the team’s toughest opponent to date.

We’ll see how it all plays out when Alabama (12-0, 8-0 SEC) and Georgia (11-1, 7-1) square off today in Atlanta.
