How the BCS Rankings would look after Week 7

The simulated BCS rankings reflect similar contenders of the other more relevant and mainstream polls, including Georgia at No. 1.

However, the results of last week, including Iowa’s loss and Alabama getting back on track brought the teams into a tighter bunch at the top.

“Iowa’s slip opens up a very tight battle for No. 2 between Cincinnati and Oklahoma, while Georgia takes the unanimous top spot. Alabama is back in the top four, holding off No. 5 Michigan.”

That also reflects what many fans and media agree on in that there is a notable drop off after the top 4 teams.

Six SEC teams made the top 20.
