Hugh Freeze comments on state of Auburn QB battle heading into Week 5

Hugh Freeze has been in the media a lot recently, and not for good things. He is having major quarterback issues at Auburn, as he has been switching Hank Brown and Peyton Thorne out as the starting quarterback.
Brown had a big game against New Mexico, and got the start against Arkansas. However, he was pulled at the half after throwing 3 interceptions.
Up next for the Tigers is a tough home matchup against the Oklahoma Sooners. When asked about who would be the starter for that game, Freeze said he wasn’t quite sure yet.
Auburn's Hugh Freeze says he's not sure who'll start at quarterback against Oklahoma on Saturday. Payton Thorne? Hank Brown?

“It’s going to be a battle this week to see who can master the plan,” Freeze told reporters on Monday. “Obviously, we have got to coach the quarterbacks better. We are moving the football. I believe in what we are doing. Turnovers are the problem.”
Turnovers being an issue will be a big challenge this weekend against an Oklahoma defense that should be the best the Tigers have faced this year. Even though the Sooners lost 25-15 at home to Tennessee, the defense did a terrific job against the vaunted Volunteers offense.
Tennessee scored only 25 points and had 345 yards of offense, down from its season averages of 54 points and 565.8 yards.
