Liggins entered camp as the starting left tackle on Ole Miss’ depth chart. The former LSU quarterback signee moved to offensive tackle full-time in the spring after appearing in every game and making two starts at tight end in 2015. He also saw the field as a quarterback in the wildcat formation.
Ole Miss still hopes to get Liggins back on the field with a need at left tackle following the departure of Laremy Tunsil. Five-star signee Greg Little is also favored by many to replace Tunsil and could take advantage of Liggins’ absence.
