The countdown has begun for Auburn’s highly-anticipated season opener against the Baylor Bears.

Hugh Freeze is under considerable pressure to revitalize the team’s performance, particularly on offense—and the Tigers still have some uncertainty at quarterback.

During his Monday evening edition of Tiger Talk, Coach Freeze hinted that all 3 of Auburn’s quarterbacks — Jackson Arnold, Ashton Daniels and Deuce Knight — could play in the season-opener against Baylor. Earlier in the day, Freeze complimented Knight’s progress and said he wouldn’t hesitate to put the true freshman in a game.

This statement raised intriguing questions: will it truly be the Jackson Arnold show, or could we see a dynamic rotation of quarterbacks? It’s tough to discern whether Freeze’s comments are entirely candid or simply a clever ploy to keep Baylors head coach Dave Aranda guessing. One thing is clear: Freeze has been impressed with Jackson Arnold’s recent performances during camp as he fine-tunes his offensive strategy.

We will see how it all unfolds from McLane stadium live from Waco, Friday, August 29 at 8 p.m. ET.
