After a fourth straight loss, the pressure continues to mount on Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze. Despite the 23-17 double-overtime loss vs. visiting Missouri, Freeze survived another week.

However amid the job speculation, Freeze will hold regular media availabilities this week, as disclosed by Auburn, beginning with Monday’s press conference.

In the aftermath of being 0-4 in conference play, Freeze didn’t mince words about his feelings in his postgame press conference.

“This just sucks,” Freeze said. “This stinks, and there’s nothing you can say to make anyone feel better in that locker room. Our fans are incredible, and we’d love to be at Toomer’s (Corner) with them right now. But we’re still obviously not finding ways to win games.”

Freeze also addressed the rumors of his job security.

“I don’t make those decisions, those calls, I just know that God’s called me here to lead these young men through a very challenging and difficult time,” Freeze said. “I’m not enjoying it a whole lot, that part of it, but yet, when you’re called to have backbone and to stand and walk through and do a job you’ve been asked to do, you’re going to do it faithfully and do it really well … or do it as well as you can until that time does not exist.”

Freeze and Auburn will aim to get in the SEC win column when they face host Arkansas on Oct. 25 (12:45 p.m. ET/SEC Network).
