Hunter Yurachek boasts about Arkansas athletics’ recent run of SEC championships

Arkansas AD Hunter Yurachek is proud of Razorback athletics’ recent run of SEC championships.
Speaking to the Little Rock Touchdown Club, Yurachek pointed to 18 SEC championships for Arkansas athletics in the last 2 years. Yurachek noted that there was a noticeable drop-off after the Razorbacks. Alabama and Florida are in second place with 7 SEC titles apiece.
Five of those championships have come on the diamond. Arkansas baseball picked up regular-season and tournament conference titles in 2021. Arkansas softball went back-to-back as regular-season SEC champions in 2021 and 2022 and picked up its first conference tournament title this year.
Hogs fans hope that Sam Pittman becomes the next Arkansas coach to join the club of conference championships. The Razorback football team travels to Dallas to face Texas A&M in the Southwest Classic on Saturday.
