While he hasn’t given up on his NFL hopes, former Georgia quarterback Hutson Mason has turned to coaching.

Mason has joined Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, Georgia, as the quarterbacks coach, and he has college coaching aspirations in the future. Mason told the AJC that he has had a few graduate assistant coaching offers, but he didn’t think the timing was right at the moment.

Mason completed 188 of 287 passes for 2,168 yards, 21 touchdowns and just four INTs in 2014. Along with coaching, Mason will be training as well, should an NFL team give him a call.
