In win over Ole Miss, LSU QB Joe Burrow had one of the most productive games in team history

Graduate transfer QB Joe Burrow has only played five games at LSU, but he’s sure to be in the record books (or at least the media guide) for years to come.
Burrow had quite the game in No. 5 LSU’s 45-16 win over Ole Miss. In fact, it was one of the best offensive individual performances in school history.
With an impressive 96 yards of rushing and an outstanding 292 yards of passing, Burrow’s 388 yards of total offense is fourth most in the team’s history.
Not surprisingly, both marks are new career highs for Burrow, who saw limited action in 2016 and 2017 at Ohio State before transferring to LSU seeking more playing time (a wise decision with the way QB Dwayne Haskins is playing for the Buckeyes).
LSU will be hoping for another standout performance from Burrow as the Tigers travel to Gainesville, Fla. in Week 6 to face a Florida team starting to build some momentum coming off back-to-back SEC wins over Tennessee and Mississippi State.
Joe Burrow had 388 yards of total offense for LSU with 96 yards rushing and 18-25-292 pass. That was the fourth most single game yards of total offense for a player in LSU history.
