Inside the Numbers: Ole Miss gets break this week vs. Presbyterian

CFP No. 11 Ole Miss looks to bounce back this week against Presbyterian after suffering a heartbreaking loss at the hands of Auburn last week.
Let’s take a look inside some of the numbers of the Rebels’ contest with the Blue Hose.
The Good
0-8: Presbyterian’s record against FBS teams. The Blue Hose have never beaten a Power 5 team, which bodes well for a banged up Ole Miss team looking to bounce back from two straight losses. Look for Ole Miss’ starters to get rest this weekend, as this game should never be in doubt.
186.8: The number of passing yards allowed by the Blue Hose defense. Ole Miss senior quarterback Bo Wallace had his best game of the season last week against Auburn. Don’t expect him to play after the half, but he should have a big day.
18: Ole Miss leads the SEC in interceptions this season. Cornerback Senquez Golson has a team-high nine picks. The Rebels’ secondary possesses a lot of playmakers with great ball skills. Will Presbyterian attack the Ole Miss defense or play cautiously?
The Bad
5: An unofficial count of five Ole Miss players either suffered injuries last week and didn’t return or played hurt. This week, followed by the bye week next week is a great chance for Hugh Freeze to rest some guys and get his team healthy for the end of the season.
6: Six of Bo Wallace’s seven interceptions have come in non-conference play. Again, he likely won’t see a whole lot of time this weekend, but the Rebels need a clean offensive performance. Coming off a grueling stretch, Ole Miss needs to be prepared mentally and needs to put the game away early.
80: Presbyterian has scored on 80 percent of its red zone chances, but now faces one of college football’s best red zone defenses. If the Blue Hose drive inside the Ole Miss 20s, will they be able to capitalize?
