Iron sharpens iron: Tennessee basketball releases hype video narrated by Tobias Harris
Even without fans in the arena, Tennessee basketball is trying to get its supporters ready for the 2020-21 season.
The Vols dropped their preseason hype video on Tuesday morning ahead of their season-opener with Colorado.
The video features former Tennessee star and current Philadelphia 76er Tobias Harris as he narrates an inspiring message.
The Vols are coming off a 17-14 season a year ago but enter this season as a popular pick to contend for the SEC title and make a deep run in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
Rick Barnes is back for a sixth season at the helm in Knoxville. He’ll try to get Tennessee back to the NCAA Tournament for a third time this season.
Tennessee returns a pair of key seniors in Yves Pons and John Fulkerson. Pons was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year last season. Fulkerson was tied for the team scoring lead a year ago at 13.7 points per game.
According to KenPom.com, Tennessee is the No. 21 team in the country heading into this matchup with the Buffs.
Tennessee and Colorado tip-off at 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday night on ESPN+.
