Isaiah Bond will not play in the rest of the Red River Rivalry after exiting the game with an injury.

That news was shared by Bond’s representative, Damien Butler, on Saturday afternoon. However, Butler also added that it appears Bond has not suffered a “major” injury.

The news comes as Texas has already built up a big lead over rival Oklahoma. The Longhorns have led by multiple scores since late in the second quarter, and appear to have the game well within hand.

Bond caught just 1 pass for 5 yards before being taken to the locker room in the first half.

Bond is a key receiver in UT’s offense. The Longhorns will certainly miss him if he’s out for any extended period of time beyond this week. He entered this week’s game with a team-high 20 catches for 364 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Texas has another big game coming up next weekend as it will host Georgia in a top-10 showdown.
