Isaiah Bond is set to turn pro and enter the 2025 NFL Draft, according to a report.

That’s per ESPN’s Pete Thamel, who notes that Bond is expected to be one of the fastest players in this spring’s draft. His colleague Mel Kiper Jr. currently has Bond ranked No. 6 overall amongst wide receivers.

Bond, a former Alabama transfer had 1 season of eligibility remaining.

Bond was very impactful during his one season with the Longhorns. He caught 34 passes for 540 yards and a career-high 5 touchdowns for the Longhorns this season. He also averaged over 15 yards per reception for the first time in his career. He finished tied for 12th in the SEC in that category.

Matthew Golden is also headed to the NFL Draft, meaning that Texas is losing its top 2 receivers to the pro ranks this offseason. However, the Longhorns do have some reinforcements waiting in the wings. DeAndre Moore and Ryan Wingo both played significant snaps for Texas in 2024 and could be in line for larger roles next season.

Still, it’s possible Texas will look to add another receiver or 2 via the transfer portal this offseason. Texas has landed 4 transfers so far this cycle, but none on the offensive side of the ball so far.
