Isaiah Hastings, former Alabama DL, announces SEC commitment

Isaiah Hastings, a former Alabama defensive lineman who has 3 years of eligibility remaining, is staying in the SEC.
Hastings has committed to Missouri, On3 Sports reported, after he considered Cal, Illinois and Syracuse. Before Alabama, Hastings was originally from Toronto, Canada, and then prepped at Clearwater (Florida) Academy International. Coming out of high school, he was rated 4-stars, the No. 26 player in the state of Florida, No. 29 defensive lineman and No. 219 recruit overall in the Class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite.

Hastings received scholarship offers in high school from 30 programs. He signed with Alabama over interest from Mizzou, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and others.
Hastings made his 2022 debut against ULM, and made one tackle. He did not record any playing time in 2023 before entering the transfer portal.
