Isaiah McKenzie is being released by the Indianapolis Colts, as confirmed by owner Jim Irsay.
The 28-year-old wide receiver and Georgia product spent training camp and the preseason with the Colts prior to being cut.

The 5-foot-8 McKenzie spent 2018-2022 with the Buffalo Bills. Last season, McKenzie accomplished career highs in targets (65), receptions (42) and yards (423). McKenzie’s 4 touchdowns last season were one short of his career high 5 that he set in 2020. McKenzie also had 9 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown last season.
The Denver Broncos selected McKenzie in the 5th round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Overall, McKenzie has amassed 141 receptions for 1,345 yards and 16 total touchdowns during his pro career.
During McKenzie’s junior season at Georgia, he notched 44 receptions for 633 yards and 7 touchdowns. In his Georgia career, McKenzie caught 60 receptions for 823 yards and 7 touchdowns, plus five punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown.
McKenzie’s alma mater Georgia will begin its quest for a historic 3-peat as national champions when they host UT Martin on Sept. 2.
