Isaiah Nichols, Arkansas DL transfer, announces Big Ten commitment

Isaiah Nichols, the former Arkansas defensive lineman, has found his new program.

Nichols announced that he’s committed to Purdue after he entered the transfer portal about a month ago. Nichols finished the season with 16 tackles, 1 TFL and 2 quarterback hurries. He ended his career as a Razorback with 64 tackles (19 solo), 2.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 pass breakup.

Coming out of high school, Nichols was a 3-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting class from Springdale, Arkansas He was in the defensive line rotation for the last 5 seasons, and he appeared in 49 games for Arkansas and made 23 starts including starting 12 games for the Razorbacks this past season.

Nichols is the second former Arkansas player to transfer to Purdue after Anthony Brown, a defensive back.
