Jack Bech, a former LSU wide receiver who entered the transfer portal nearly 2 weeks ago, has found a new home.
Bech announced on Sunday that he’s committed to TCU.
The in-state product from Lafayette, Louisiana, played in 25 games as a Tiger and had a banner freshman season in 2021. That’s when Bech led the Tigers in receptions with 43 and ranked 3rd on the team in receiving yards with 489. Bech also caught 3 touchdown passes as a true freshman.
“This has been the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make, and a lot of thought and prayer has gone into my decision,” Bech said in his farewell tweet. “With that being said, I’m entering my name into the transfer portal.”
Bech had just 14 catches for 157 yards and a touchdown during the regular season. But he’s battled injuries throughout the offseason into the regular season that have limited his opportunities.
He finished with 16 catches for 200 yards.
