Auburn fans remember Jacksonville State all too well.
The Gamecocks took Auburn to overtime at Jordan-Hare Stadium back in September, coming about as close to pulling an upset as possible.
That was Jacksonville State’s only loss of the season.
So it shouldn’t be surprising that the Gamecocks crushed Sam Houston State 62-10 on Saturday in the FCS playoff semifinals, setting up a date with North Dakota State for the championship on Jan. 9.
