Georgia linebacker, former 4-star recruit, Jaden Hunter enters NCAA transfer portal
A month after being arrested in Athens for driving with a suspended or revoked license, Jaden Hunter may be on his way out at Georgia.
The redshirt sophomore linebacker has only appeared in four games during his Georgia career and that may be all he gets as a member of the Bulldogs as the Atlanta native has reportedly entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
According to Matt Zenitz of AL.com, Hunter is now listed in the portal. This news doesn’t officially mean Hunter is leaving Kirby Smart’s program, players are allowed to enter the transfer portal and return to school, but it is the first step toward leaving Georgia via transfer.
Hunter was ranked as a four-star prospect and the nation’s No. 9 outside linebacker out of Westlake High School in the 2017 recruiting cycle. He has yet to officially register any stats on the field for the Bulldogs.
