NCAA approves waiver for former Georgia linebacker Jaden Hunter to play immediately

Jaden Hunter and Western Kentucky got some great news this week as the linebacker’s waiver to play immediately this season has been approved.
Hunter, a former Georgia linebacker, left Athens this offseason following after being arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license. He appeared in four games for the Bulldogs last fall.
After deciding to continue his career at Western Kentucky, Hunter applied for a waiver to play immediately in 2019. That waiver was granted this week, the linebacker announced on Tuesday. Western Kentucky has also confirmed the news.
This could be good news for a few SEC fan bases as several league teams continue to wait for resolutions for players’ waiver requests.
Hunter was ranked as a four-star prospect and the nation’s No. 9 outside linebacker out of Westlake High School in the 2017 recruiting cycle. Hunter is originally from Atlanta.
