Jaden Rashada, 5-star 2023 QB from California, has 4 SEC teams among his top 7

Jaden Rashada is one of the top quarterbacks in the 2023 recruiting class. In fact, the Pittsburg, California, native is one of the top players of the cycle, period, checking in at No. 29 overall in the 247Sports composite rankings.

Now, like many of the nation’s top 2023 players, the 5-star quarterback is narrowing down his list of schools.

On Tuesday, he took to Twitter to reveal that 4 SEC programs — LSU, Florida, Ole Miss and Texas A&M — were among his current top 7. He also revealed he’d be committing on June 18:

Those 4 SEC schools will compete with Miami out of the ACC and Cal and Oregon from the Pac-12 for Rashada’s services in 2023 and beyond.

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Rashada is the No. 5 quarterback in the class of 2023 and the No. 5 overall recruit from the state of California.
