Jaime Ffrench is a 5-star recruit and a major wide receiver prospect for the class of 2025. Though the heavy focus may be on the 2024 recruiting class, Ffrench was ready to reveal his commitment.

His group of finalists came down to Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Penn State. In the end, the work of Nick Saban’s program was enough for Ffrench. He revealed his commitment during a live broadcast with 247 Sports.

“There was just something about Tuscaloosa every time I was in town,” said Ffrench when asked about shutting down his recruitment ahead of his junior season. He is already the 5th commitment for the Crimson Tide in the 2025 recruiting class.

Ffrench is listed at 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds out of Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida. The 247 Sports Composite rates Ffrench as the 13th overall player for the 2025 recruiting class and the No. 4 WR for the cycle.

Hot start for Alabama in 2025

Already, Alabama has a pair of 5-star commitments in Ffrench and fellow WR Ryan Williams. Williams is rated the No. 3 overall recruit and the top WR in the country per the composite.

Along with those WRs, Alabama already holds a commitment from Anthony Rogers, the nation’s No. 1 RB in the class of 2025. The Tide also have a pair of 4-star offensive tackles committed in a 2025 recruiting class that is currently ranked No. 2 in the country per the 247 Sports Team Composite.
