The Georgia fan base has been known to invade a rival city on occasion and considering the Bulldogs are opening the season in Nashville, on Labor Day Weekend no less, there is expected to be plenty of red and black in Music City this weekend.

During his Monday media availability, starting quarterback Jake Fromm was asked about the Georgia fan base and their willingness to hit the road to support their team.

Could Vanderbilt Stadium be in for another see of Red, like Notre Dame was treated to back in 2017?

“Yeah, we’ll see. I heard a lot of people are going and hopefully the Georgia crowd shows out,” Fromm said in a video uploaded to YouTube by Jake Rowe. “It’s great to see the fans travel, we love making any kind of away game as much of a home game as we can. Hopefully they travel, hopefully they are there.”

If recent history is any indication, there’s little doubt Georgia fans will outnumber Vanderbilt fans come Saturday — the real question is by how much?

Georgia and Vanderbilt open the season Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.
