Jake Fromm and the Georgia offense weren’t ready to play Saturday against the Gamecocks and it came back to bite them in the end.

The junior quarterback threw three interceptions against South Carolina, one of which was returned for a touchdown in Georgia’s 20-17 double-overtime loss on Saturday. Despite having two opportunities to score in the extra period, the Bulldogs did not convert a single time during overtime.

Fromm ended up completing just 28 of 51 passes for 295 yards and a single touchdown.

After the game, Fromm shared his thoughts on his team still having everything to play for in the second half of the season.

“I still think we can accomplish everything we want to accomplish moving forward,” Fromm said. “We just have to take it week in and week out and win every single game from here on out.”

Fromm was later asked how shocked he was following the surprising outcome of the game.

“Yeah, if I had it planned out, this wasn’t the way it was going to go, a little bit shocked,” Fromm admitted. “Maybe that’s what we needed. We can go back to the drawing board and get better.”
