Jaleel Skinner, a 4-star recruit and No. 1 TE out of Florida, announces college choice
The hits just keep coming for the Crimson Tide as they land another big-time recruit. Alabama secured a commitment from Jaleel Skinner from IMG Academy of Bradenton, Florida, who is rated the No. 1-rated tight end in the class of 2022, and the No. 10 player out of the state of Florida, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Skinner, who is a 4-star recruit, picked Alabama over Clemson, Texas, Florida, Florida State, and Miami.

Skinner explained during his recruitment why he was considering Alabama. He said this to Rivals.com:
“It shows you can really go out there and play football and they’ll put you out there,” he said. “It doesn’t matter how big or how much you weigh. If you can play football, you can go out there and do it.”
The Crimson Tide have 16 players committed in their 2022 recruiting class.
