Jalen Carter is set to miss his first game as a rookie after the Philadelphia Eagles’ injury report came out Friday.

Carter is one of four players listed as out along with Justin Evans, Darius Slay, and Quez Watkins. Carter is dealing with an ankle injury.

Before his injury Carter played in every game so far, accounting for 12 total tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, and 3.5 sacks. Carter is coming off of a 2-sack game against the L.A. Rams.

The Eagles ending up winning that game 23-14.

The Eagles are one of two undefeated teams left in the NFL heading into Week 6. The only other team in the league without a loss are the San Francisco 49ers.

Philadelphia heads on the road to face the New York Jets Sunday. The last regular season meeting between these two teams was in 2021. The Eagles won that game by a score of 33-14.

Kickoff will be at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
