Jalen Carter has carved out a name for himself as one of the top defensive linemen in the NFL. Now, the former Georgia star is set to participate in his second straight Pro Bowl Games.
Carter wasn’t quite able to stay on the field in 2025. Still, he put up good numbers. In 11 games, he totaled three sacks and 33 tackles while being credited with 12 quarterback hits. In the playoffs, he posted a sack of Brock Purdy in a divisional round game against the San Francisco 49ers in a 23-19 loss.
Carter’s won at both the college and pro levels. He was an anchor of Georgia’s dominant defenses in 2021 and 2022 as the Bulldogs won back-to-back national championships. He was then drafted ninth overall in 2023 by the Philadelphia Eagles. In his second season, he was a Super Bowl champion.
Carter will be among several Eagles who were named to the Pro Bowl roster. Like Carter, center Cam Jurgens has been a Pro Bowler in back-to-back seasons, along with linebacker Zack Baun. Cornerbacks Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell, both first-team All Pro honorees, are on their first Pro Bowl Games roster.
The Pro Bowl Games are set for Feb. 3 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
