Jalen Hurts identifies ‘coolest’ text he received after SEC Championship Game

The SEC brand reaches well beyond the Southeast, just ask Alabama QB Jalen Hurts.
Hurts met with the media Thursday ahead of the Orange Bowl. It’s no surprise that he was asked about his off-the-bench performance to lead UA to a come-from-behind victory over Georgia. It was arguably the biggest story in sports on Dec. 1, so even people who may not follow the SEC closely were aware of what happened in Atlanta. Including multi-platinum rappers in Hollywood.
Asked about the text messages he received, Hurts identified rap icon Snoop Dogg as the “coolest” celebrity to send him a text.

Perhaps Hurts or one of his teammates will get a celebrity text message after Saturday’s Orange Bowl.
