Jalen Hurts is playing in his 2nd-career Super Bowl on Sunday night and things are off to a good start.

Hurts opened up the scoring with a rushing touchdown to put the Eagles up 7-0 on the Chiefs with 6:15 left in the 1st quarter. He found the end zone via the Eagles’ patented ‘tush push’ QB sneak. Here’s a replay of the big moment for Hurts:

Hurts also played a big role in setting up this score. He found former Penn State star Jahan Dotson for a 27-yard gain to put the Eagles down at the 1-yard line. After that play was initially ruled a touchdown, replay assist placed the ball at the 1-yard line. The Eagles scored on the very next play.

Here’s video of Hurts’ big throw to Dotson:

Hurts’ TD is a big win for bettors who backed him to find the end zone on Sunday. Hurts was +650 to score the first touchdown of the game, per odds from BetMGM. He was also +375 to be named Super Bowl MVP ahead of kickoff.

After scoring that touchdown, Hurts moved to +100 to be named Super Bowl MVP per BetMGM’s live odds (subject to change throughout the game).
