Former Alabama QB Jalen Hurts is thriving in Lincoln Riley’s system at Oklahoma, putting up video-game numbers on a weekly basis.
He’s at it again this week against Texas Tech, torching the Red Raider defense through the first two quarters.
In addition to two 70+-yard passes, he also had 308 passing yards in the first half, doing something not even Kyler Murray did:
Jalen Hurts entered today with two career passes of 70+ yards — he had two in the first half vs Texas Tech.
Hurts' 308 passing yards are his most in any half in his college career. Kyler Murray never had a 300-yard passing half in his college career. pic.twitter.com/2jJrmFpA8k

Will Hurts become the third Oklahoma quarterback in a row to win the Heisman Trophy, following in Murray and Baker Mayfield’s footsteps?
He’s certainly on his way, and Oklahoma’s offense is rolling on Saturday against a hapless Texas Tech defense.
