Jalen Milroe is in the middle of a whale of a game against LSU. And it’s a historic showing.
Milroe with his 4th rushing touchdown for Alabama late in the 3rd quarter became the first Alabama quarterback to have 4 rushing touchdowns in a game in school history. Overall, he has 142 yards rushing on 17 carries, including a long run of 23 yards.
Milroe on 2nd down and 5 from the LSU 11-yard line ran around right end, and then pinballed into the end zone to give the Crimson Tide a 35-28 lead with 1:01 left in the 3rd quarter. It capped a 6-play, 68-yard drive that gobbled up 2:53 off the clock.

Milroe has been in a back-and-forth battle with LSU star QB Jayden Daniels, who has a huge game of his own. Daniels is 15-for-23 passing for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns, with 163 yards rushing and a TD on 11 carries.
Milroe himself has 200 yards on 13-for-21 passing.
