Replacing Jace Sternberger was one of the biggest challenges facing Jimbo Fisher’s program this offseason and things got tougher when Baylor Cupp was lost during fall camp after suffering a serious leg injury.

Turns out, despite the tough loss of Cupp, the Aggies had a star freshman at the position ready to emerge in 2019.

If you didn’t know the name Jalen Wydermyer leading up to the season, you should now as the freshman just scored his fifth touchdown of the season against Mississippi State.

Wydermyer also scored against Clemson and twice against Alabama during his first season in College Station.

His most impressive catch of the season? It just happened against the Bulldogs.

Check out his 52-yard catch and run against the Bulldogs.
