Ja’Marr Chase was an impact-maker at LSU and has only continued that into the pros. Chase had a huge showing against the Cleveland Browns, helping propel the Cincinnati Bengals to a 23-10 win on Sunday.
He accounted for 119 receiving yards and 1 touchdown on 10 receptions in the contest, far and away leading the team as a pass-catcher.
Chase spoke to how much head coach Zac Taylor set him up for a good game after the victory on a day in which there was no Tee Higgins or Tyler Boyd. But the chemistry built up between Chase and former Tigers quarterback Joe Burrow was well on display.
“Zac [Taylor] told me before the game he was just going to try to get me the ball and make something happen. So that was the game plan.”
