Jamarrion Harkless is one of the nation’s top defensive linemen entering the 2023 recruiting cycle. Now, the senior from Lexington has made his choice on where he’ll play at the next level.

The 3-star defensive lineman officially committed to Auburn Sunday morning. Harkless posted to his Twitter account that he would be joining forces with 2nd-year coach Bryan Harsin on The Plains for the 2023 campaign and beyond.

Per the 247Sports rankings, Harkless is the No. 76 defensive lineman in the 2023 class and the No. 4 overall recruit from the state of Kentucky. The 6-4, 290-pound defender also held offers from Illinois, Ole Miss, Georgia, Kentucky, Cincinnati and other programs.

The Tigers now have 9 players in their 2023 recruiting class, including 4-star wide receiver Adam Hopkins, 4-star running back Jeremiah Cobb and 4-star safety Terrance Love. Currently, Auburn’s current class ranks No. 58 overall in the nation, per 247Sports.
