James Franklin has perfect reaction when asked about officials’ big mistake in Penn State-Auburn game

James Franklin is a smart man. He knows better than to give away his money through fines for criticizing officials.
In the first half of Saturday night’s Penn State-Auburn game at Happy Valley, the SEC officiating crew messed up the downs, leading to Penn State having to punt on third down.
Franklin was (understandably) irate at the officials, but nothing was done to rectify the situation.
At halftime, Franklin didn’t take the bait when asked what explanation he got from the crew by ESPN’s Holly Rowe:

That no answer says it all, really. Penn State holds a narrow 14-10 lead over Auburn. Second half coming up on ABC.
