Jameson Williams could add to the Alabama presence in Philadelphia if the Eagles get their way in Thursday night’s NFL Draft.
John Clark of NBC10 in Philadelphia shares that Williams recently told him that the Eagles would like to draft him and pair him with 2020 Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith.
Alabama WR Jameson Williams told me the Eagles told him they would like to draft him
“They told me they would love to see me alongside DeVonta. I think that would be an explosive offense and something nobody has seen before”

In addition to Smith, the Eagles also have former Alabama players Landon Dickerson, Jalen Hurts and Jared Mayden on their roster. While Williams did not play alongside any of those 4 players at Alabama, he would almost certainly bond with them as members of the growing fraternity of former Crimson Tide players in the NFL.
Alabama fans, though, probably shouldn’t get their hopes up of seeing Williams join Smith and company in the City of Brotherly Love. The Eagles have the No. 15 pick in the first round, meaning they would likely need to trade up to snag Williams, who is trending upward.
